We are excited to announce the third year of the Bloomington Book Festival!

Where: The Buskirk-Chumley Theater

When: Sunday October 25

Who: Our keynote speaker this year will be Wright Thompson, renowned sports writer and author of The Barn.

Why: To nurture a love of reading in our community. The Bloomington Book Festival also generates funding for BloomREADS, a nonprofit that provides literacy programming for underserved students in Monroe County.

Last year, the BBF hosted over 2,000 attendees at its events and raised enough funds for BloomREADS to launch a pilot program with Tandem Community Birth Center and Postpartum House, which created an on-site book collection and literacy toolkit for families. This year we hope to raise more funds to expand BloomREADS programming!
